Photovoltaic Application Study of Zinc Telluride Thin Films Grown by Chemical Bath Deposition Method

Photovoltaic solar thin films zinc telluride studies on chemically deposited have been carried out to assess its suitability for use in the conversion of energy electrical energy. The configuration fabricated cell is n-ZnTe| NaOH (0.1M) + S Na2S (0.1M)|C(graphite). study shows that ZnTe are n-type conductivity. junction ideality factor was found be 2.87. flat band potential -0.652 V. barrier height value 0.583 eV. power output characteristic open circuit voltage, short current, fill and efficiency were 150 mV, 25.6 μA, 24.86% 0.49%, respectively. photovoltaic characterization by studying current-voltage characteristics dark, capacitance-voltage measurements, characteristics.
